I dont want to start an internet war, but there is a substantial difference in safety when discussing grabbing a whitey's bill and grabbing the bill of a 200+ blue.

Especially when it comes to the fishes own safety. Once again not trying to start an internet fight, but the way i was taught is if its not meant for the dinner table theres no point in messing around with it for too long. Get a picture, grab the lure, cut the line as close to the hooks as possibe.

No point in unintentionally hurting a fish u dont intend to kill.

Wow I am very proud of what I have accomplished with this gaff. I really expected comments like "way to go man" "nice job" "Thank You I can see this gaff saving a lot of fish for my children and grandchildren to catch" "Thanks Man for caring about the fish" The gulf is closed and the east coast closures are a threat from the Feds. The NOAA has already tried to close the fishery before the Oil spill most likely a lot of you rallied to try and stop them and you won but do you think they will stop there, Way to go great job coming together it does work you do have a say so. Now this gaff especially in a tournament setting will save many fish from being killed. Helping to make our fishery stronger and help to preserve this sport we all love if you didn't love it you would not be a member of this forum or any other. I am not a bad guy I am not trying to hurt anyone or say bad things in combat. I am trying to help our sport with new and innovative ideas thinking outside of the box. The bann was for posting about my haywire machine that was better then 1 a sponsor was advertising at the time 2+2= but if you want to bann me because I care about our fishery and sport then go ahead that's your choice. I truly hope you decide otherwise and maybe show some support on something that will truly help our fishery.

We all seem to find money to buy a reel, Gotto bar etc but market company and support a website that works hard ? Nope very few and we dont ask for much.

We try hard to find a balance and we have always said we will consider great content and articles as part of a members contribution. But flat out posting to sell and promote has gotta go.

Not being sarcastic just ending this with a little peacefull humor and please send me by PM the requirements for advertising as a sponsor and as soon as I can afford it I will come onboard. And your comment on the Oil spill I wish I could do something this is very bad for us all if it rounds the Keys its all over for all in the fishing industry. The economy was one thing kicking our butts and now this Oil spill. BP could have use explosives the first day and closed that well off but then they would have lost the rights to it thats why they are drilling the relief wells watch when they are drilled they will get that leaking well closed then they have 2 wells there.
