November has come and gone and brought some outstanding catches of yellowfin. Large one's to be exact. As other captains have noted, the dolphin made a late season arrival
which is rather odd. I suppose the warmer water is keeping them here. The fishing remains steady as long as mother nature permits. The lump season is around the corner and from the size of the tuna we have been pulling from the surrounding area's, it should be a good one. The wahoo will be making a strong push shortly with the cold fronts and the approaching full moon. The trout fishing in venice continue's to be anything short of silly. Live shrimp in the passes and spillways are giving up steady limits along with the other bonus catches of redfish, white trout, flounder, etc...
I have openings for this Saturday and Sunday if anyone would like to give it a go. The forecast looks good for a little freezer filling.
