Can anyone here make a recommendation for a captain/operator in Vanuatu? I would prefer a larger live aboard boat suitable for 5 people plus crew. Any help would be much appreciated. TIA

Ocean Blue comes to mind. I have never fished with them, but they see to show up in many of the major fishing magazines on a regular basis...

Thanks, yeah, I have been in contact with them. I was hoping somebody had some first hand experience or knew of something a little bigger than the 46 that ocean blue runs.

plenty of boats to choose from, but if you want a live-aboard then look no further than Dean Butler and Russell Housby aboard the Blue Dog. The boat is a Plysier, and rigger for live-aboard trips. Dean and Russ are old hands at the GBR and so know how to set this up very well. As a team they are also highly regarded on the big-game circuit, having set a multitude of world records over the years, especially on the fly with various anglers.
