    Breaking News.......looks like people are safe which is very fortunate.......I guess multiple birds diabled the engines on impact and the plane crashed shortly after take-off from La Guardia......CRAZY!

    Holy chit!....I fly out of LGA a LOT and I do see flocks of birds from time to time..... that water is probably in the low 40's maybe even 30's today..... and the air temp was 12 earlier today......WOW!

    It's all over the news up here....it went in the water around 3:35 local time....the plane is now almost totally submerged...flight was headed for Charlotte, NC which is a major USAir hub....thank God no one was killed!
