I always have wire copper or monel( preferably both) besides rigging bait, it's as useful as duct tape on a boat, improvisied rigger clips, quick mechanical fixes etc.

Another ball to have is a tennis ball. Cut a slit in it and when you have all six rods go down at once you don't need to have 6 fighting belts. Slip the tennis balls over the rod butt and you have got protection from the hard aluminum butt in the gut!

I would love to add a digital video camera on the rocket launcher, as well as more tackle storage in the center console. And another 6 feet and 200hp.

but one thing comes to mind with me. rig the boat and load it for the type of fishing you will be doing. if all you do is flounder fish and bottom fish with an occasional striper trip, not everything is needed on the boat. i mean do you really need a full crimp kit? if you run offshore make sure it's capable and equipped, i have fished offshore with guy's that say they have no raft and e-pirb. WHAT! a 23 grady doesnt really belong at the canyon. i know, i used to do it. it's not based on fuel range. and i dont think the boat they sell at sear's belong's in the rip's come fall, no matter how it's equipped. other than that i like tim's idea of a second temp guage in the cockpit.
