Update From Wayne Bisbee Bisbee's Los Cabo's and Black and Blue

Hey there John,

Since you’ve become the unofficial (maybe official) communications conduit for the entire offshore world, I thought I’d shoot you our current “state of the union” for the upcoming Bisbee’s Black & Blue Tournament.

First though, a brief update on our Los Cabos Offshore Tournament (the baby Bisbee). Today is the 2nd and final day of fishing for this one, and yesterday the only qualifying fish was a 42.1 lb. tuna caught by the “EZ-DUZ-IT”. The dailies for the dorado and marlin categories rolled from yesterday to today, and we so far have one boated black marlin that will wait until lines out to weigh and one blue marlin coming to the scales now. Will let you know when we weigh it. The top release team from yesterday was the “MARLIN MASTER II”. The weather yesterday and today couldn’t be nicer for this one.

Now for the B&B, and of course our new friend “Rick” which is currently a cat. 5 hurricane, and around 400+ miles away from us. As of now, we are going ahead as planned with registration starting on Tuesday, and hoping that it veers away from us and/or diminishes. By tomorrow afternoon, it will have done this, or be that much closer to us (it’s traveling 13 kts) and by then we’ll have a much better idea if it’s going to continue it’s currently projected path to us.

So my friend, stand by and we’ll keep you in the loop. Got to go pray to the weather gods!!! All the best – Wayne

I can not promise anyone but if you have questions and or concerns we will try to get you the best possible answer and post it in this thread.

Thanks
