In photo #3 - How many lights does Cricket have? Are they all super blue or are some white also?

    Thanks again!!
    Thanks for the warm welcome1

Cricket has 4 of the 2010TH in Super Blue. They look white because the picture was taken with a slower shutter speed from lack of ambient light to see the boat. It makes the center of the lights wash out some. Two, three, or four lights work well across the transom in boat 45' and up.

You need to see one of our dealer's for that. Consumer's Marine Electronics carry our lights. I'm not sure if we are on their website yet but we will be in the spring catalog coming out next month. give them a call.

The price should be the same wherever you look so pick your favorite place and support them.

I notice that you sell both thru-hull and surface mount lights. Regarding the surface mounts, why does the wire stay exposed (could be ugly depending on the application and have you considered making the wire enter the hull behind the light as Abyss Light does? Best regards,

Good question. Our Surface Mount unit is for boats that can not have a hole at the location of the light.

If there is a fuel tank, stringer, or some other obstruction or the boat owner does not want a hole below the waterline he can use our surface mount light. You have to see the wire if you don't want a hole below the waterline. This is the SM Model.

If you want your wire to be hidden you should use our TH or FM models. Our TH model penetrates the hull with only a 1" hole cut out. The stem of the light is inserted and locked down from inside just like installing a water pickup. Then you simply snap in the Deutsch Quick Connect plug. This method is a more secure and safe method when dealing with a hole below the waterline. It is so safe it has been granted the Lloyd's of London Type Approval which means it is considered safe from impact or water intrusion for the largest of super yachts. You don't have to worry about a screw failing and your light falling off. Remember, stainless steel works out of the water, not in the water. If you are putting a screw in below the waterline it needs to be silicone bronze.

    Hope that answers your question!

LED technology is incredible. It draws lass than 1/2 the amperage of old traditional bulb style light with no startup surge. Some bulb lights can surge to 12 or 15 amps PER light during start up. Who has a power bank for that? Xenon bulbs can cost over $100 each to replace vs LEDs (when properly done such as ours) have a 40-50,000 hours 1/2 life meaning they still have a long ways to go. For more pictures visit our website www.oceanled.com We are in the process of doing a complete overhaul of the site so keep an eye on it over the next few weeks, it will be incredible!

Visit our brand new website for a cool video of Tarpon feeding behind a boat with our lights. Notice that unlike fish around white lights, these Tarpon are content to stay in the light. Listen to what the captain has to say. Very informative. We also have TONS of new photographs online. The website has been completely redone.
