With every trip we had offshore I've been watching all the bait and life we were passing inshore so on wednesday and thursdays trips we stopped short, real short. We left the dock at 4:30 am and had lines in 45 minutes later. We started just short of east lump and before we had four lines set a bluefin slammed a green and yellow feather. That was one of four bluefin we caught, the day was non stop with multiple hook ups all day. We had bluefin, bluefish, spanish mackeral, to many dolphin and a white marlin hooked up for a short time but he pulled the hook. It was great to see so much life that close to shore and everyone had a great time. Sorry no photos haven't got that down yet.
That is great to hear. I managed a BFT out of the middle of the fleet on Friday. This week and weekend will be interesting to see what the storm does to the water temps and how the fish react. Thanks for the report.
Thanks guys, it was alot of fun.We didn't spend alot of time on any lump that had a fleet we just moved to the next one. Most of the time we were by ourselves. Good luck this weekend
