    Thumbs up Unbelievable Catch?

Well not exactly a catch...but interesting! Last evening My Cousins Wife was swimming off Our dock when She screamed and got out of the water faster than any Human I have ever seen! She claimed "something BIG" just brushed against Me. Yeah right....I've heard that one before! Well, this AM I get a call from Pop telling Me to get over here and bring a gaff! WHAT? He seemed excited so I thought I would go along with this. I go around back and there is Pop smiling His ass off! Stuck between the bulkhead and a couple pipes is a 40lb. Bull Dolphin. Yep! It's true, We have a few pics and I will post them in a few minutes. I guess it's time to start chunkin' under the light! Mabey even troll bally's and green machines in the basin. Think of all the $ We could save. Looks like We have been over-running the fish! Sorry for the pics...they are from a cell phone.

    This is S.Jersey!

It is a bad pic but it is a slab Mahi! He was seen by My nephew (6yo) chasin' bait under the light the night before (We didn't believe Him either). He lost some color overnight

That's because it is a jack cravelle (that are known to frequent all types of canals).

Few fish, if any, pull harder then a Jack C. Taste like shit, but fight reel good.

The second picture kind of looks like a different fish b/c of the shape of the head. It actually looks like a bull dolphin, but it's hard to tell from the picture. The first picture is definitely a jack crevalle though.

Were they the same fish or different?

    Same Fish...

It is a Mahi! There is a glare in the first pic. You are right though, in the second pic You can clearly see the Bulls head. He was dead under water and the exposed from the tide through the night. It sure looks like a Bull dolphin but the pic of the Jack has Me thinkin'. He has a long dorsal like a Dolphin but the spots on the pecs say Jack! Either way, I have never seen a Jack Crevale or a Mahi at the dock here!
