    IN$UFI$HENT FUND$ Mako Mania

    Fished Mako Mania this past weekend with some very nice weather for sharking..... Saturday we had 4 makos a hammerhead and two very big blues. On Sunday we had 7 makos, 2 Blues and 1 hammerhead. Sunday we boated a 279lb mako which gave us second place in both the jersey coast shark anglers as well as the mako mania. We had the fish boatside in what felt like ten minutes between the JPR rod and the Alutechnos reel. The fish never got more then 50 yards away from the boat. Hopefully i will have the video up on our site of the Mako going crazy on the side of the boat, he was making the Gunnels flex 3 to 5inches on the Venture which Handled incredible all weekend!! Great boat!!

    Nice job dave. We got some nice bass in the pods 2 the right of M I. We ran out around 7am, lots of fog, blue fish, & blue sharks. How far south did you run.

    Dave for the last 3 years MV was the same week of South Jersey Tuna and Barta Boys and Girls club. This year It looks like I may be able to sneak up and I may just do it.

    Im sure I can accomplish a solid last place in MV lol
