Had a Bluefin Charter on Friday which was a little choppy in the begging but turn out to be a nice day. we fish the AP Area and had a slow start chunking with nothing but Blue Fish to show for it. we then went on the troll and fought through Blue Fish until we got our first Bluefin. after that we worked the Chunk hard and finally got the tuna started and ended up the day going 8 for 12 in the 40lb to 60lb range. we were using Light wire Diiachi Hooks which hid very nicely in the smaller sardines we had and we finally got to use the Talica 12's and 16's which put a hurting on the bluefins. we also missed a Mako that we had on for ten minutes before he got through the Mono. crew was great and it was a nice ride in.
