    IN$UFI$HENT FUND$ BAHAMAS 5/13/11 LAST ONE!

So we went for our fair-well Bahamas trip before we tire to trailer the boat back to NJ. We started Friday about mid-day netting some greenies in the Jupiter inlet which were real nice baits. We checked in customs and were fishing by 3:30pm by memory rock. We managed both large AJ's, kings, cudas , massive triggers, all kinds of groupers, muttons, true red snappers, lane snappers, cero mackerels, and school master snappers.... Our best Jigs of the trip were definetly the PBJ Jig and the Star Jig by Sting-O. I would have to say that we got sharked 1 out of every 3 fish we would hook which was starting to get annoying. Our JPR Jig rods put a hurting on alot of the very large sharks which has me wondering why we still use such heavy tackle for our sharks in the North East. We fished both Memory Rock reef and Matinilla reef on the north most side of the island which was about a 50 mile run and it felt like we were exploring reef that no one had ever touched. Sunday we woke up to 20 knot winds with Severe Thunder Storms over Florida so we decided to pack it up and head back to the states. We also encountered our first water spout about 20 miles off of Florida which was interesting. We then blew the Trans on our dually while leaving Jupiter with the boat and had to leave the boat while the truck gets fixed.

Great photos! (your genuine red snapper is actually a blackfin snapper (hambone, button snapper etc.) That schoolmaster is a stud.
