I get mine from Fisherman's Outfitters up north. 1 (800) 500-TUNA, but if OFF THE HOOK B&T has them in stock....go for it. No more cheap rubberbands from Staples for me anymore. The small ones are good for bait rigging,but not the big #64's. Only the U.V. resistant ones last for a long time.

Forgive a dumb question. What's the advantage of black rubber bands?
With the little bit of BFT experience I was lucky enough to be involved in this winter, the black #64 type rubber bands only took one or two to tie in the to planer with virtually no stretch vs (3) regular #64 rubber bands that were stretched out all to be darned every time we checked the planer. Plus, they will not dry rot like the regular #64 bands would.

Unoyankeefan, the black rubber bands are Ultra-violet protected, so they wont deteriorate in the sunlight.
