    Had a friend catch 11 bluefins 60-80lbs saturday right below the point. Only tunas I have heard of.

    We had a really nice Mako on for a short while at the 470 - just pulled off. All the Fatties you wanted (or didn't want). Lots of Hammerheads around, whales, porpoises, longlines - huge pods of bait - none of the boats we talked to got into any tunas though

    Just posted our report (Tommy and I were out there together)...

    I agree, in hindsight we could have chunked and drifted strips or live albies for a Mako but we were looking for Tuna.
