Tuna Wahoo 5/16/10

Carl LaManna, Allen Miller, and Joe Camarata joined us on Tuna Wahoo on Sunday for some Striper fishing, along with about a thousand other people! The boat traffic was unreal. We ran north of the Shrewsbury Rocks to find a slow pick of fish. We then ran down to Seaside at slack tide to find another fleet of bass fisherman. We caught nice quality fish running from 37 to 39 inches along with a few bluefish. Shads, bunker spoons and stretch plugs worked equally well. The day started out grey and chilly, but by mid-day the sun broke through, the seas were flat and the guys had a great trip.
