Squiddy...They pretty much go off year round. You might pickup marlin and such at certain times...but if you can get out there, the tuna are usually rockin'!

I was going to hit you up for a bar or two and some other things. Though I would try applying a NE style out there and see how it works. I was going to ask for your suggestions.

I'm sure we could get something planned.... it is a cool deal!

They are year round. It's kind of odd, in Tx. more a winter time thing. In La. more of a summer thing. I think it's more of a "what we are used to doing thing" if you get my drift. Midnight lump for example, thats the place to be in winter in La. I know you can fish green canyon floaters year round and catch blues, yellowfins, and bigeye every time. It's just a pretty long run(110nm's) as opposed to 18nm"s for the lump from tiger pass out of Venice.

Let me know - I am sure I can muster up a day or two off work (i know the boss) I think I may even have a few sick days left I'll bring down the arsenal and give it a try.

Great stuff Galazio, my POP lives in Aransas Pass, as well as my grandparents on that side...

You know Capt. Travis, he works as a mate and 2nd captain out of Dolphin Docks from time to time??

I am trying to get down there in Feb or Mar, will have to hook up and grab a beer or something.

    NICE TRIP!!

Let me know when you get ready to head this way... I'm up near San Antonio, but always look for reasons to get to the coast.

Glenn, I might go on the Gulf Eagle out of Port Anrasas on Dec 28 - 30.
I expect they go to Bourdreaux.
If time allows me, I also might go on the Big E on Jan 18-20 instead of fishing Midnight Lumps out of Venice, LA.
