I got this in from Anthony and DJ yesterday....yesterday they ran THATS RIGHT on a Tuna Trip, catching 7 releasing 6, and keeping 1 44incher....all Bluefin. They also got about an 80pounder eatin by sharks, and for a minute, Anthony thought he was back in San Salvador in the Bahamas! I guess a few of the fish were right there..just under 47 inches....They reported a good, consistent bite spread out all day kept everyone on their toes.. Everything on the troll with naked ballyhoo producing best again.... all in 50 to 100 fathoms. They said they found a school of blufins at the end of that day all on the surface, mostly 60 pounders with some bigger ones mixed in that they saw, then bang got triple on for the end of the day. Next day they are out Shark Fishing, getting ready for the OC Shark festivities this weekend.

Great report.Where were they fishing?I am planning on going on saturday out of ocean city,md.Boats on a trailer though, would appreciate some intel.Thanks

This trip I think they were inbetween poormans and balt..closer to poormans, but i've heard similar reports in similar depths from the Spencer all the way to Poormans...just gotta find the bait..

Thanks I was hoping they were getting them in a little closer.Sure is a slow start this year.
