Thanks guys....As I said, I'm not familiar with your side. Fishing this side we have left the docks as late as 2:30 am to get to the grounds 55 miles before sunrise. Of course this is on a slow boat with a 20 knot cruise speed.

We can do this in the dark and not have to worry about pens or all that many boats in the wee hours except for bluefin season when you need to be EXTRA careful of all the traffic.

But then again, this is just in our little patch of coastline in southeast NC.
