    Tuna in the Hudson?

    Capt. Len....this looks like the real deal...right? 64 degree water against 52degree water. Any one going?

    their are a couple of boats i know of going to the toms as the break is bigger down their i would not go to the hudson

    Reading some other info, seems there are Bluefin and BE in that water, but here say from commercials so far. I'd like to see it a bit closer personally,too far for me right now without a bladder, good luck to those who go

    What's the range on the 33' Fountain....figure you would have more than enough.

    For the edge I like to think 350 nm max to be safe, from my slip it is 116 to just the tip of the Hudson, so the 1000 fathom curve is too much

    Hudson Filament

    Guys, Don't think that filament in the deep of the Hudson will last to much longer. I'd check out the water in the Toms. It is moving toward the 100 fathom curve and it is a much larger portion of that filament. If you look to the north of the Toms on that filament it appears to be pinching off. The flow of warm water to the north of the Toms is lessening or may have ended completely. Remember that water a few days ago in the Wilmington Baltimore. Same scenario and it is gone today.
