Easy decision there.....troll. I hate slinging the slop and avoid it at all costs. I have chunked once in the last two years.

No doubt, chunking is the BEST. Nothing like sitting there letting the line out with your hands and your reel starts screaming, but there is less hits on chunking during the day.
Absolutely with out a doubt trolling! I cannot stand chunking, avoid it at all costs.

both have there time and place. Though I would like to try kites for tuna some day

Do both, take some land lubbers offshore and start trolling. They will do the chunking for ya.
Some strong opinions here. Can't say I could pick one right now, still need to spend more time trying both. Kite fishing would be fun, just need to learn how it's done.
