How long does the Tuna bite last into the fall months off Venice La.?

bump to the top, you can catch them year around. but its really getting heated up down there now thru like early spring. they also move in closer this time of year the last trip i made a couple weeks ago we caught them like ten to twelve miles outside of the south pass. very close.
