    trolling with braid question

I have a Penn International 12LT single speed on a Crowder ESU7615 that I plan to use for trolling tuna feathers for bonito and blackfins as well as livebait slowtroll or powerdrifting. I want to use braid for the capacity in case I hit a big wahoo or luck into a white or blue marlin.

What type of braid should I use? I think it holds 850 yards of 12lb

I troll with braid. Use 50, with a 50lb topshot for that reel. Make the topshot about 30-50 feet.

On a reel this size I troll 500 yards of 65# Power Pro and then fill the balance of the real with 50# mono top shot (should hold about 75 to 100 yards of mono).
