    Tred Barta Hydrographers Canyon Episode

Man them boys to the North really have some quality canyon fishing. Last night I stumbled across the new Tred Barta episode of them fishing in the Hydrographers Canyon and it is an all out blood bath. Killer trolling followed up by a great night chunk bite and then some more awesome morning trolling action. I often follow the water that swings into those canyons during the summer and it looks like the first stop for the really good eddies that swing in from the stream. These guys were straight mugging yellowfins and longfins and also had a white and a stud wahoo with not another boat in sight. Tred is leadering fish from the wheel chair like it's nobodys business. I would say to keep your eyes peeled for this episode as it is one of the best ones I have seen yet and really got the blood flowing. 9 banger of longfins does it get any better? A June eddie loaded with Yellowfin can't come soon enough for me now! Keep up the good work Tred.

Its a great fishery, thats for sure. We had an all out yellowfin and sword bite the first week of Nov., then , just to make sure it wasn't fluke late season dream, we went out the second week of Dec and caught more yellowfin!!

Yeah I see those eddies that continue to swing into those canyons all fall/winter. I would think there would be tunas in there. Longliners probably beat that water up all winter long. Do you guys still troll them in the late fall or is it strictly a chunking thing? I know during October down here in our canyons our day troll bite completely dies and its only a night bite on bait.

It was one of the very best fishing shows I have ever seen. Some of the best fishing I have ever seen captured on film. I loved the part where he asks the guy to move the sword line. Knowing they had that out too and might well have put a broadbill into the mix makes it even better.

If you know anyone who has a physical disability, have them watch it regardless of whether they are anglers.
