Tournament Time Parking Issues, You never Know what you'll See

Apparently the local mate just had his breaks worked on and was coming into the fishermens center when a hose let loose. Luckily his buddies where close by and dove in to get him out. Shook up but no major injuries is what was reported.

Pictures provided by http://www.thatsrightcharters.com/ Capt John Oughton.

Just to add to the story. the details are right, here are the particulars. The truck jumped into gear and the driver was trapped inside of her. For those of you from the area, the driver was capt. jason from the ranger. The heros of the day were Steve Moore from the All in and Justin Hart who fishes with Willie Zimmerman on the Game On. steve and Justin jumped in the basin and Justin actually had to kick the back window out of the truck to get jason out. scary stuff for a few minutes. thats for sure.

    Luckily everyone is ok.

Something like he was testing to see how deep the water was, but ran a ground before he got there.

Occasionally you will see a boat rear ended being pulled on a trailer but that is the first time I have seen a boat rear ended by a vehicle while sitting in the water.

When the old Tiki Bar was still running, I saw similar events at the Southport Marina - Not stern hits, but side on hits.
