When You are in a tournament, and on day one the biggest fish gets caught, Does it take the adrenelin away? It sure would for me. Now I dont fish tournaments but its gotta hurt if you have 4 to go and the bar isnt just high its out of reach. Just wondering what it does to the game plan. thanks,
I lose no adrenalin. The fish at big rock was an 883 and it was a horse but you never know when a bigger fish will come into your spread. You gotta stay motivated and always be ready for that bigger fish!
It sucks, but as said previously, you never know...

I would immediately file a protest against the first place fish saying that I saw them get it from a longliner and then put out the big plugs and troll at 8 knots and see what comes up behind the boat.
Seems like a defeatist attitude to me... Why am I not surprised...
The whole reason there is so much money on the line is that on any given day, some poor schlub can sink a hook in a bigger fish and walk away 900K richer... The fish are out there - will someone be lucky enough to run over the top of it?
