    Hey Mark,

Those videos are really nice. They convinced me to go with windons and I may do my bridle that way too. I'll start doing my first serves next week. You make it look easy if you have everything set up right. I know alot of guys do it differently, but this is a pretty simple method to start with.

    Thanks Alot,
    Alan

Does it pay to set up your tuna jigging set ups with the Hollow core to a 75 yrd top shot and keep your trolling stuff stricly mono? I know I am gonna try the jb hollow core on one of my jiggin rigs this year. I have never fished it and am eager to see how it performs.

I've tried all the methods described here and ended up going with the top shot, 100yds diamond 40 ft wind on. Why not braid to the leader, Wait till you are in a cross sea, 10 line spread the rigger pops out and the braid just touches another line. You will spend the next 15-30 minutes trying to unscrew the mess and forget it if you get more than one line in the mix. #2 You can see the braid better in the rigger but with any kind of wind it really luffs out there. #3 If you are concerned about the stretch factor adjust the drag, more drag for mono less for braid to leader. You want to set the hook on the strike not jerk it out of the fish. #4 If you get multiple hookups that braid is going to cut right through another line like a hot knife though butter. #5 Depending on how much you fish you can get up to 3 yrs out of your braid just turn it over about the yr and a half mark. I think in the long run you will find it more cost effective. I fished over 130 days this year offshore and this worked best for me. To each his own, just trying to put some points out there.

    God I love this job!
