TOP SHOT Gaffs?

Walked into my office this morning and saw a long box sitting next to my chair. Opened it up and a brand new 6ft Top Shot tuna gaff was in it to my surprise. What a nice engagement present from my girl.

So, whats the consensus? Anyone have one, use one? Its heavier than most of our gaffs on the boat I must say. Looks like it would be the deal as a second gaff on a large fish at boat side. The gaff head and edge is ridiculous to say the least, but real thick.

Anyone used one?

They look nice to me. What size hook did you get?

It has a 4" Hook Spread. I just got finished wrapping it.

They look heavy duty, I have seen them in a few shops but havent used one boat side.
