got to the tip of the toms and trolled by a pot and got covered up with mahi. immediately pulled all the gear in and went over the side with the spearguns.
spent about 2 hours in the water and shot about a dozen mahi to 14 pounds off a bunch of different flyers. as you can see by the pictures we could have had all we wanted but 12 was plenty.

the view when we jumped in 2:
my brother grabbing some air about 30 feet away(i think the mahi in the background are about 60 feet away):
as the sun went down we changed gears and set up for the drift. pretty uneventful, but we picked three fish on live squid. all three hit 50# flouro and a 1 oz. weight. marked fish here and there but they never got going.
switched over to the troll around 8am and went 4 for 4 on longfin in 30 minutes. 2 fish hit purlple and black canyon runner jets and two fish hit canyon runner rainbow squid spreader bars.
WOW! Thats pretty cool. I have always wanted to do that. I scuba dive myself. Always wanted to get in out there head a ways down a flyer line and do some spearfishing. Try to get me a yellowfin maybe.
