Had mechanical maintainence duties aboard the two boats yesterday and today. Had the radio on and finally heard a few, very few fish returning. Weather is supposed to turn tomorrow some time and should bring with it a few more fish. Yesterday the boats that went chasing the pointed ones way up at the artic circle had comments about being ready to put "rusty razor blades" to their wrists. Not only were there no fish but the wind came up much harder than expected fromthe south in their face for the long rides home.
Closer to home there was just a smattering a couple boats catching one and one guy stepping on a tripple.
Deep C gets the call through mid week then on standby for a tourney that depending on the mechanical analysis on the one boat may or may not happen. Have back up trips if it doesn't.
Sorry its not much of a report but its something...
