i feel as a fellow rec fisherman and a com guy i need to post. Most of us rec guys say yes to comm fishing but in the end backlash upon what we do for a leaving. Everyone says in feb that good for you and what not but when something happens in March that may disrupt something in June everyone throws their arms in the air. I am not asking anyone to choose a side, or pick a small battle. I feel that most of us need to understand we are all in the same "boat" and need to help each other.

Dogfish are a huge problem up and down the eastern coast. I am very familiar with it but....if a commercial says its a problem it gets looked at as an other way to make money. A group of rec guys say something now its a serious issue... See my point.

Codfish have made a great recovery in the MASS area. I have never seen so many but.. we catch them in the winter when every rec guy is at work. SO is it a problem?

This website is made for all of us from the bass fisherman to the guy that puts a grander blue in the boat once a week. After seeing a post about whose to blame with the striped bass thing.. Should we target each other or is there a bigger agenda......because your gov't is thinking the same thing. TIGHT LINES
