    we have always done our best golden tile fishing in 500 feet or deeper, and they live in mud borrows. if you are over the fish, they bite almost instantly. We use a 130 senator with a dolphin electric motor, on a short bent butt, 130lb braid, and a 5 lb window sash weight, and a multiple hook rig with a bunch of clam on it. Another tip jay, once you feel one hooked up, dont rush it, let it sit another minute or so, and more times than not you will get a double header... I will see you out there saturday man!
