    Question Tile fish???

    is there tile fish in atlantis??/?
    do they fish for them east of hudson.. just curious
    want to try tile fishing this year any advice would be helpfull
    thanks
    how much weight do you send to the bottom?

    They should be there. Bluelines will be concentrated between 280-500ft., but most will be found in 280-300' of water. 30 oz of weight will suffice most days. They will eat anything. The main ticket is finding the right bottom. They like clay.
    Same goes for goldens but bigger baits and twice as deep of water.

    we just fished for seabass and tile...... 350-400 feet of water, 12-16 oz of lead.... Use braided line, u can feel bottom like its 10 feet deep. we slayed the blueline tile and some golden

    60 Fathoms

    two commercial guys went out last week to 60 fathoms inside the Wilmington and slayed tilefish. only 3 guys know the numbers and I'm not one of 'em.
    I hope to catch my first tilefish this season.
    If the tuna ain't biting, i gotta come home with something...can't afford any skunks this season.
