THE ENERGIZER CHARTER BOAT PUT THE STEEL TO A 67" BLUEFIN YEATERDAY....AND LOST A SLOB!!!! NOT TO MENTION THE WAHOOS, KINGS AND SAILDDOGS HAVE BEEN THICK AS OWL SHIP!! A BLUEFIN ATTACK THIS TIME OF YEAR IS UN HEARD OF HERE IN SOBX!!!!!

IF THIS IS ANY KIND OF BAROMETER FOR THE BFT.......LOOK OUT NORTH CAROLINA........THE 130'S WILL BE SCREAMING ONCE AGAIN!!!

Wow. Hope this doesn't mean thats it for the fishery up here in NJ.

Past two years we have had them thick in Late oct.-early nov. at the Hudson and neighboring canyons. Hope they didn't head south already.

I just can't figure these buggers out up here.

3 years back in JULY MIND YOU....we saw a school of giants pushing water inside the wilmington if i recall correctly. Clear as day, +300 lb. fish. Dragged plastic cross there noses, nada. Threw chunks, nada.

Then 2 years ago we got into em 120-130 ft. down on the west wall of the hudson during a day bite second week in Nov. Hooked one that spooled a 50 and another that too 3/4 of another 50 on full drag.

This year they are already behind the scallop draggers and seem to be heading south.

for that two en half week run we have been bangem Iam polishing the reels
as we speak
