First and foremost I want to thank Capt John Oughton from http://www.thatsrightcharters.com for taking us offshore for a relaxing adventure.

I honestly don't think I have laughed this much in years.

In another post I'll speak about the Zebra, Tigers and Bunnies as this is all still a little blurry.

We left Capt May NJ at around 8 am Tuesday.
Within minutes of putting lines in we started bailing nice Mahi into the boat.

Next thing I knew Capt Joe Trainer is telling me to get into the chair and handing me a rod. Still don't know why I sat down.

Thank God though once about 3/4 of the spool was gone this Blue Marlin decided to cut the line. THANK YOU MR. BLUE AS I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN SHOWING YOU HOW STRONG I AM!!!!

After my marlin release from about a 1/2 mile away the Tuna started coming aboard.

Next the Tuna just kept coming to the boat.
This trip we had some really good Capts on board and also a few mates.
I must say LuckyLady showed some of us guys how to get it done.

Tim Hand ... First White Marlin !!!! Congrates Timmy and you will be checking the water temp this weekend in OC.

When we sat down for the night I thought things were gonna be on fire. A couple tuna hit the deck right away.

INCLUDING Capt John Oughton brought in something I have not seen in a long time. About a 80 lb Allison....

Around midnight Capt Joe Trainer brought up a swordfish that was released back to the sea to grow up.

All in all we had a box full of nice tuna and Mahi a couple released fish and a ton of fun and laughs.

I can not thank all of you enough for taking us away from the daily grind.

Look forward to catching up with you all this weekend and watch Capt John Oughton Ride his Harley I mean Vespa through town with his Zebra...

I must say I am sore from laughing so hard. What a trip, what a crew. Thanks to Capt. John Oughton and his mate Joe Bonvetti, I couldn't think of a better group to break my marlin dry spell with. Thank You for getting me my first White Marlin.

Thanks to My boss man John Eppehimer truly one of the greatest guys to work for, its was great to share some laughs with you. Mary, Joe and Jason we laughed so hard at times the fishing was an after thought but the fishing was awesome non the less

If John wouldn't of scared off that Blue Marlin with his might and angler prowess we would have had a Grand Slam when we added the swordie in the middle of the night. Oh well next time.

I am already starting on some recipe threads to share with everyone in grillin and chillin. One of our Mahi's turned into a ceviche style Ponzu and red chili dip enjoyed on the back of the That's Right
