Man what A day we had!Getsome steve,Papasmurf Fred Brian and I departed CM inlet about 6:15am the seas where A left over heave from the storms prior I was able to get 35mph when it was all said an done but prior I was doing about 40mph when A launcher on my T-top had broken off with A rod in it and luckily no one was hurt!
I then inspected all welds on the T-top and found no faults but in each tulip rod holder A crack was starting to develop so I will have to get this taken care of in the near future, all I can guess is that over the last 2 and A half seasons of having the big rods up there it has taken its toll.Well anyway on with the report!
We new just where we where going and upon arrival we where into the fish immediatly with close to drop and real fishing most of the day!We had A total of 35 misc Goldens and bluelines A few rosies and A silver eel.The biggest was of our trip ranged from goldens 32-40lbs blueline biggest was 12lbs we where delighted to find awesome cruising conditions on the way for the way home and managed A 44mph cruise all the way back to the dock.
