Glenn, Anthony, once again we got on the fish, unfortunately all the wrong kind![]()
Just to know we are in contention each year keeps us coming back. next year we will come tight on that whiptail. Can't control the size of the makos, just alot of small fish out there. Hopefully they will grow up big and be back for us next year.
Congrats to Anthony, Junior winner at OBMST. He amazed me with his stamina, especially on day one with 15 sharks, including a Junior World Record Blue that was estimated at or over 400 plus pounds, with a 10 foot fork and 12 foot overall length. He didn't even hesitate to cut it away, as we were looking for a money fish. Great team effort.
Thanks to Brian(albatross) for filling in for our 4th crew member, great job and hard work!
BIG time props to my new friends from AMERICAN MUSTANG for hanging a thresher and placing 5th overall. Love that Ocean Master, what a fishy ride. It was a real pleasure hanging out with such a fun, laid back crew. You guys fish HARD, and it paid off.
Hope to see Capt. Pete, John, and crew of AMERICAN MUSTANG again next year, if not sooner in the canyons.
Glenn, Anthony, lets go get his junior record back soon!!
