    Tailer / Release Gaff

    What's the story with these loop style tailers/release gaffs?

    Watching the Madfin Shark Series sparked my interest.

    Are they only practical for what these guys are using them for, dead boat sharkin'?

    I'm not sure it's too safe for fish or mate to be draggin' a large specimen backwards by the tail while you decide whether to kill or release. What gives?

    Their is plunty of diffrent applications for them in the few sizes that they make anything with a forked tail can be taken by those things they are decent but requires a little skill and pratice to use
