Gday Guys,
Long time reader of the threads, so i thought i would let you know whats happenong DOWN UNDER!!!!!!!
With the arrival of the cooler waters from the South, the Yellowfin Tuna season off Sydney has started to fire up. Fish up to 80kgs have been encounterd 20nm east of Sydney!!!!!!!! Any U.S fisho's travelling this way? Love to hear from you!!!!!!!! Here are a few pics over the past 12 months of fishing off Sydney!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the replys.
I will try to keep you all informed on the offshore game fishing scene for the Sydney area. Should any of you consider a trip this way, i would love to take you out and show you the waters off Sydney (weather permitting)

The "little tunny" works a treat run at lon corner... The striped Marlin absolutely smashed the lure upon hookup!!!

The bull was weighed at 23kgs or 50pounds and measured 5ft3inches. Landed in 10 minutes on 24kg test. Would have to of been one of the silliest fish i fought as he swam right to the boat.......

I've long heard of a run of large (50 + Kg) yellowfins of SE Australia. I think one of your pictures is of one such fish. Do you get that run in Sydney? What time of the year is best for them?
