Sunset Marina - Ocean City, MD

[Prime Time]

Had to leave our boat at Sunset Marina in Ocean City for the week after spending Labor Day weekend down there. If anyone is around and they don't mind checking on her for me, she is in Slip B-6, 45' Ocean "Prime Time" I just want to make sure she is not bouncing off the pilings with this great Northeast wind we have. I'll be back down Friday night sometime to bring her home over the weekend.

I'll owe you a Prime Time T-shirt when I get back down........THANKS !!!!!

To help put your mind at ease a little, the staff there keeps an eye out for the boats, especially when the weather is nasty, and they will retie if necessary.

All was well 1 hour ago- i walked down, she is riding fine, tight on the stbd spring, but not so tight that i would be concerned- not bumping anywhere. I will check on her tomorrow am as well.

Just got back from Sunset and everything looked fine as of noon today. All lines seemed fine and she wasnt bouncing off anything.

I'm the Assistant Dockmaster at Sunset, and we took special care this week that every boat was secure. In several cases we added lines to boats whose tie-up jobs were questionable. We try to walk the docks constantly during a blow like we just experienced just to make sure everything is sitting pretty.

If there's anything at all you need from the Marina, please let me know and I'll do my best to take care of you. Hope you come back!
