Glad to see another group of guys has been taken by the power of the Almighty's personal fisherman. I post on Bloodydecks.com, and thought His brand of awesome was limited to our little section of the interwebs. Little did I know Ohnoitsnoah was sharing his vast wealth of knowledge throughout the cyberspace. Some of my faves are him showing off 8 pound skippies and designating them Ahi(I was always assured that ony tuna over 100# were Ahi) and him showing off his monster Blue Stripers. That's right guys, apparently our excitable Hawaiian brother has managed to find a new species of marlin, a hybrid no less. Who knew that He was also a marine biologist? The list just grows and grows, not unlike His ego. I also wanted to compliment the eagle eyes here who were quick to point out that O'noyoudi'nt(Hawaiian spelling) always has an immaculately clean shirt, with the one exception being the Day of the Bloody Handprint. I too wondered about His unbeleivable talent of being able to stay perfectly guts free even as His captain managed to fill a hold with "Monster Mahi." Luckily for me, a few of you guys are super sleuths, able to get to the bottom of that mystery. Of course, being a boat washing cameraman makes perfect sense, as His friend Jesus was known to wash the feet of the poor. Humble is humble, but I digress. I just wanted to say hi, and am anxiously awaiting some whacky misadventures with our dear friend, OhmygodamIclueless. I leave you with the reminder to Stop Wishin', and start washing a boat you'll never mate for.

This is absolutely disgusting. Sportfishing in NC has such a tradition and history that a guy like this would NEVER make it for 15 minutes as a charter boat captain or mate in Manteo, Hatteras, or Morehead City. I've seen a hand full come and go but nothing like this guy. Around here it is OK to be proud and confident, but you keep your mouth shut about it. Everybody around sees what gets thrown on the docks every day and every body knows who the best captains/mates/boats are. Everybody knows who consistently performs on the tournament scene. It's not just here in NC.....this goes for the small world of sportfishing all over the globe. I am blown away that a place with such rich sportfishing history as Hawaii has captains/fleets/docks/marinas that will allow this kind of ding dong punk hanging around pretending to be a professional. It really is sad. Ono Noah - you really need to figure it out man....you are on a short road to no where fast. Being humble goes a long way and you've got a long way to go. Good luck.

Great post. It really is a black spot on one the world's great fisheries. Although it does seem that he's finally been mellowed, albeit under what circumstances, you have to wonder. The guy was so totally over the top, you'd think it was a joke, and for a while, I did.

Aloha Folks!.



Ono Noah here checking in on this beautiful Sunday afternoon from Lahaina, Maui! Oh yea, it is good to be in paradise. Warm weather, beautiful beaches, fantastic fishing, and catching! Yes, life is good.



Headed out early this morning. Got up at the nice hour of 12:15 P.M. to head out to our favorite bait fishing location (secret spot). We all know the hard work it takes to get up this early now don't we?

Now that's hardcore. Don't ever say I didn't get the bloody decks going.



I would just like to take this time now to pay tribute to a very special member of our team. 'Big Head' Ed is one of the finest gentleman to grace these islands with his presence. His head is so large that it literally allows him to store a larger brain. With that extra space, he is able to devise master plans on locating, hooking, and landing 1,000 lb. marlins. He truly is a fisherman's fisherman. Anyhow, back to college you go 'Big Head', slay em over there too bro!!!







He gets granders, but 'Big Head' will love pulling in the hundos too.

Anyhow, back to the topic at hand... although we will miss you 'Big Head'.



So we get out to the cobalt blue pacific water and start our journey to the buoys. And whatdya know, Captain P-Rick and yours truly, Ono Noah managed to pull in a few delectable treats from the sea.









Oh, and yes, we ate the fish. Delightful!

While we take the time to say goodbye to 'Big Head', we would like to take the time to commemorate Brandon 'So Handsome' B. 'So Handsome' gets out there non-stop, and he is true to his name ladies...

He has acquired quite the fan-base of the ladies... On a more meaningful note, he has caught the attention of Hawaii's future anglers -- hoping, wishing, and dreaming that one day they may have the opportunity to crew such a tournament-equipped, clean, comfortable, and fish-ready yacht... such as the 'Action'.







Only time will tell... anyhow folks, thanks again for checking in on my reports, and remember... HAWAII IS NUMBER ONE BABY... YEA!!!

Now that is a fishing trip thanks for the pics. I love seeing it first.
