Sunday OC report

Started at the Chicken Bone early. Worked the area pretty well for a couple hours with a dragger and a few other boats. No tuna bites except 3 FAs. After a couple close calls with the dragger and a center console, we decided to check out Masseys. Lots of birds but didn't mark any fish or bait. Headed east end found some nice water on the 30 line. Had a few nice bites come unbuttoned. Finally caught a nice bull and headed in for the rough ride home. Not a bad day with some action and some nice meat in the box. Need to start catching those mystery bites though!! Will post a pic later.

Thanks for the good report. We fished the Chicken Bone and 20F fingers there eirlier in the week and marked lots of fish. It was pretty rough out there so we just stuck it out there after all the charter boats left. we wound up picking up two nice bull dolphin and on 35 lb yellow. I heard there was a nice bite of larger yellows outside the Hot Dog.

I'll be going again this weekend if the weather holds out.

So you too were in the SPRAYFEST on the way back. We(Reelbuster) were in the same area(Masseys) early then went to Balto. just missing out on a YF and LF bite.2 1/2 Hrs later we made the sea bouy after leaving there biteless.Glad ya got something.Give a holler when out next weekend.

Yes, the ride in was bumpy. Glad we decided to stay inside. Not sure where I'm fishing this weekend. I don't have a good feel for the wind yet but would like to be in the deep. See you out there Reelbuster and Rainman! I am on 1 all day.

Were (Chasin Tail) heading out tomorrow, gonna get a early jump, hoping the boys show up on time and leave the pier 4am ish. Calling for a little fog in the early am... Hopefully the seas will layout a little for us, shooting for the 50-100 line towards the Baltimore.

SST's are a little fuzzy and I can't get a good read one way or another. I'll crank the radar up once we get out there and maybe the birds can give us a hand!
