    Suggestions for rigging Lee's outriggers

I could use some help with suggestions for rigging my T-Top mounted outriggers.

I have Lee Sidewinders with 16' poles mounted on my T-Top. Here is a picture:

I will be rigging halyards with twin roller troller clips on each rigger. Here is my question:

I want to be able to adjust the halryards when deployed without climbing up on the gunnel. It seems if I mount the shock cord with pulleys on top or the lip of the T-top, I can't reach the halyards. If I mount the shock cord on the gunnel, I can't really fish around this, and the rigging is in the way.

If I mount it up on the top for running, and then switch it to the gunnel for trolling, I'm still climbing up on the gunnel, and probably the attach lengths are wrong.

    Any clever ideas? Pics?

Pretty boat! You might try attaching it to the handrail just under your T-Top. Just wrap the bungee around the pipe as close to the outrigger handle as possible. That way the length would work no matter how the riggers are deployed. You could also try and mount a cam cleat under the T-Top and use a line attached to the halyard and not a bungee. Using the cam cleat and the line will allow you to adjust the length of the rigger line depending where you have the riggers set. Cam cleat are normally used in sailing but work well in this application. AllTackle has some that are used with the line going through the gunnel. Do a search on the West Marine site to get a list of other options that might work for you.

    Good luck!

Talbot29's idea works. The idea on any Center Console is to get the gunwales clear or the walk-around feature has obstacles. Figure out where the downside pulley is and where they are comfortable when the riggers are out in relation to the tower support tubing. You can pick up a Bimini Top fitting that fits your tube size and clamp in where you need it. Just adjust the bungee or 1/8" braided nylon to a mark prior to pulling the riggers in.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give it a look this weekend to see if I can make this work.

Let me know if there are any pics that illustrate this.
