I know that we are going to here it from a few folks that a fish is a fish and can be legally harvested but this still sucks. Someone took this picture off of Pinas Bay in Panama

I am against netting as it is an indiscriminate kill. Although I believe the fishermen in question here are probably targetting sails, rather than them being bycatch.

I have no problems with someone killing a fish, but you are right Bill, this does suck. I thought it was illegal in Panama.

More than sickening. That should be criminal. I see an entire net full of billfish. Yet another example of RAPE. Anyone who has any interest in fishing whatsoever should read this months National Geographic Magazine. It details exactly things like this.
