Flew down to Stuart last weekend....
Second Mated and worked the tower for my buddy JR that mates on the "Small Change" a 54 Jim Smith...
We were fishing in the Pirates Cove Tournament
Fishing is decent down there and seems to only be getting better....
2 for 3 first day...
0 for 0 second day...yeah don't want to talk about that day
Last day of Tourney we went 4-5 on sails ...
Bite was up north....LOTS of mackerel bites....went through 150 baits but had to stay with the bait to get sailfish bites....
We actually ended up taking top female angler....which was a nice surprise....
Glenn on the Floridian won..no surprise there....
Back to Wanchese for a week now..got the "Cerveza" wet again heading south with chances of a short stop in Morehead to try and best that 875 I caught while working for Marston last year and then to Charleston....
Don't know if anyone heard...but a boat out of Charleston caught a SUPER GRAND SLAM over the weekend...
Blue, White, Sail, and Sword...
Don't hear of that happening in the Atlantic anywhere but Venezuela
Many boats have had shots at grand slams over the week....One boat went 5 for 8 on sails and 1 for 2 on blues one day last weekend...
Can't wait to spend a couple months down there!!!
