Well the stripers made it to upper roanoke river over the weekend ,this fishing is off the chart.The stripers go up the river to spawn every spring 100 fish per half day trips are the norm.The river isnt a 100 yards wide so it dosent get rough.The next 2 weeks should be red hot,bait fishing,jigging plastic,fly fishing and morning and afternoon topwater bite.Capt.LEE PARSONS OF GOTTAFLY GUIDE SERVICE and THE DOWN EAST BOYS still have some open days.This is a good trip for the beginner or the seasoned angler.The boat ramp is right off I95 in roanoke rapids,check out GOTTAFLY GUIDE SERVICE on this site he will hook you up.
