    Storing Rigs

All my summer rigs that i re-rigged and never pulled again are just sittin in the same ol buckets. How do you all store them over the cold months? Im tired of all my skirts gettin tangled and kinked up in buckets.

Do you all just cut em up or leave them rigged?

All the wahoo and tuna rigs ill leave out but some of the dink rigs and mess need a home for a while

    Any suggestions are appreciated!

i hang mine from the blinds in my room. this lets me see what I have, lets me pick out what i want to carry on the spur of the moment and lets me see what needs to be redone. If its hanging on the blinds its ready to fish, but if its on the floor or in the bucket, it needs some attention. if i was using windon leaders, i would just leave the lures in a pile and just crimp on the one that i wanted to use the night before, but i still use snap swivels so its easy to get each lure prepared little by little and not have to do them all the night before.

i guess the only drawback is you dont want the sun to hit the leader so you put a blanket behind the blinds and you have to not care about a little rust on the blinds.

been working pretty good for me for a couple of years. have not thought of a better way yet.

good topic, how does everyone else do it?
