    Cool Rhoddy's Lures!!!!!!!!

Hey Rhoddy I have some more great shots of fly fising for stripes. Jefferson Morrow was there in early January and has footage of a world record caught with Pete Santini. Because of conservation efforts they took footage, photos and measurements. He can at least brag to his friends . Pete Santini could probalby tell you more. Braden still has problems with the handle on the rod. He used the lures to their death; the purple and black. I will be placing an order for Ecuador, Costa Rica and Guatemala shortly. I have added more destinations and you should see if you can find time to make it to Casa Vieja Lodge. I think it is well worth it for you. I'll hook you up.

Yes Merijo, please hook Roddy up. He is a flyfisherman at heart, I hear he will pursue world fly records in all tippet classes for todos las senoras marlin azul grandes. Don't get him started on atuns on the fly, he gets positively giddy on the subject. When he comes with the giant bamboo please take lots of pictures, we needs the evidence.

    Hi Merijo,

Fire me a line when you want to order more stuff. It'll be a pleasure to help. I now have the inserts for the rods Braden uses, which is what the problem was ! Let me know what size they are.

Here's an e-mail I received from Brad Phillips today -

    hi roddy,

i had a friend bring down the box of lures.i could not wait any longer.

IMPRESSIVE stuff. i cann't say enough about the idea and how they work, ease of changing out the skirts and coming up with just the right combo. u are goign to do well with them mate. thnaku for sending them to me. i have been tryign them all out. i think my mates are going crazy thu, just so many combo's etc......the meduim and larger plunger style swim very well and are workign great for me. the small chugger heads work well. .....they are goign to be hard wearing and great for charter style boats.

some lures definitely change their action with three skirts on them, i like this as one can tweak them just right. they really are cool.

cheers, thanku, and good luck with them,

    brad

So there ya go. They do work ! If anyone gets Olaf's daily log from Ascension you'll know what mayhem the 22 Basilisk is creating there. JW - you need to tweak Tracy's arm.

Drew - now how in the hell did you know I was a trout fisherman at heart ??? You sly dog - you bin looking thru my photo-book ???? I so nearly caught a big-eye on the fly once in Madeira..... that's a long story. You still using the Hooks ??? How's your season going ?
