Just read that he passed away today. He was a pioneer. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

The sportfishing community has lost one of it's very best light tackle anglers. Rest in peace Mr. Campbell.

Thumbs up Chunda in the Azores

I still enjoy watching Him aboard the Chunda fighting big blues in the Azores, especially the fish that pulls Him over the side! Like a trooper, He comes in the transom door and is back in action. Truly one of the sports greats.
    I love a good WAKE!

Stewart really was one of big game angling's greats and will be sadly missed.

It's only a minor point but his early bath came when he was after the 30lb record out from Madeira. Unfortunately the video seems to have been removed from YouTube.

Discovery Channel showed the Madiera video today on their Dangerous Fish Show - I hadn't seen it in a while. I had never seen the tip wrap when Charles Perry dumped the leader before. Makes you think a bit...

    RIP Stuart
