Sterling II - Aug 2, 08 = 6 for 7 on YFT, 0 for 2 on Bills
We had a wild ride on Saturday. We started the day with two small YFT, keeping one for the box. Then things got tense. Anyone between the Baltimore and Spencer felt the wrath of mother nature with a severe lightning storm that passed through around 10 am. With winds at 40+, low vis, heavy rain and more lightning than I care to remember, it made for some life reflecting moments. We didn't have time to bring our lines in before the lightning was in range so we left them out. Near the middle of the storm we had a knockdown that came loose (thankfully) so we cleared that line with thunder pounding. As we neared the end of the storm we came tight with a double header of YFT on TLD 25's. Thunder and lightning in the background, Art and Sylvia engaged the fish for well over an hour and successfully landed two 65 - 70lb YFT.
The last couple hours of the day we were back on the fish, missing two nice size marlin and boated two more 60+ yft. With the fish box full and our friends safe throught the storm, we had a lot to be thankful for.
Shots were in line back at the club, just happy to be alive after the storm.
cascoli rode it out in a center console!

I dried out the marlin cam and downloaded the footage today.
