Sterling II - 5 for 10 on YFT June 15
After hearing some good reports on Friday we made an early season run for the Canyons on Sunday looking for the warm water that pushed in. We headed to the 100 line of the Wilmington and never did find the 70 degree + water but did have a great day on the yellow fin tuna at around 68 degrees. Several double and triple headers on a wide varitiy of artificial and bally's. On board were Carl and his son Anthony. Anthony landed his first tuna that weighed in at 46.5 lbs. We put 5 on the boat, filling the box, and headed for home. A great start to 2008!

That's one of my Sportfishermen.com shirts and it was the only stain free one until this trip. The picture hide's it pretty well but we were a mess so the lean didn't do a lot of good. ... Now where did I leave that tide stick?
